Overview
We
carry out refurbishments on all electric motors including
gearbox and fan motors, offering high quality and reliable
work with a fast and efficient service.
Brush,
Bearing & Wire Replacement
In
our fully equipped toolroom we strip motors down to their
component pieces replacing all wear sensitive components
such as brushes, capacitors, switches, cooling fans &
bearings and replacing old wire work with new. The rotor,
casing and other non wearing internal components are then
set aside for cleaning.
Cleaning
Cleaning
is carried out in our Clemco manual shot blast cabinet or
prepared with solvents. Our cabinet can handle casings upto
1500mm long and approximately 600mmØ.
Rewind
We
run a Whitelegg GB Heavy Duty Coil Winder capable of winding
upto 1500mmØ coils (1300mmØ x 900mm long
with bed & tailstock) with an extensive range of arbors
for wire and strip upto 250mm2, ideal for both
transformers and electric motor coils.
Varnishing
& Baking
We
operate a 3375L (1.5m3) varnish tank with 2
x 20KW curing ovens, and offer single and multi dip coatings
for higher CIV ratings where required.
Dynamic
Balancing
We offer dynamic balancing for units upto 250kg, 900mmØ
and 2500mm in length.
Wet
Spray
We offer a wet spray service in a wide range of colours
to suit your requirements.
Testing
All units are fully tested prior to delivery by our highly
skilled engineers. We carry out armature testing, core
loss testing and power tests.
